Cybersphere Lore Bits
So Hive!EXE got a hell of a revamp, and now I’m ready to drop info about them. I’ll add more over time.
Their new name is Cyber.exe (Cybernet in-universe), and the AU is called the Cybersphere
Xenophon has been renamed to Evangelus
Their backstory has been modified
They have created a sentient representation of their unified will called Psyche X
Members have significantly more free will; it’s the psychic connection formed by the network (and the resulting ability to act as one unit) that makes them a hive/an egalimind
Amy Rose is still a survivor, but she’s actually the leader of the survivors
She even took the Phantom Ruby to give her an edge/allow her to fight Evangelus on equal footing (which allowed Damon to get a hold of Cream), and now she’s called Crown Jewel.vbs by most people
Exe-Verse Cyber has set up dormant “backup universes” that are ready to spring to life just in case an exe erases their own universe
Evangelus, Crown Jewel, and Ambrose were together before all of this happened
Newly-Ascended members of Cyber.exe have to wear emotion repressors for the first few days of being a cyborg because it hurts a LOT, the hive can't dull the pain without damaging their touch receptors, and the repressors keep them from caring about it
The result of the previous fact is that a new member would wake up and recognize that they're in pain, but the part of their mind that's screaming at them about how it hurts hurts HURTS HURTS SO MUCH MAKE IT STOP PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME is being dragged down and silenced
Evangelus has a slight redesign and revamp
