But the reason why is a hero who messed up got her parents killed and Psyche vocal cords got cut.
So she can’t speak however she does have an artifact that can allow her sign language to have it’s own voice. So as she signs it can speak or if she thinks it the artifact can act like a speaker. (This artifact is physically apart of her. Any attempts to remove it will mean a very painful death.)
(She is not angry about this event or has any resentment. She understands that mistakes happen and sometimes lives are lost.) before you ask yes she grieved but she wanted to be a hero to prevent that from happening again. To another child. Well life had other plans.
Psyche currently works with the Blood Syndicate. (Yes even the villains are organized.)
