The bakening continues

The first batches were sent off to the in-laws, and what was left was packaged up and saved for an uncle and cousin... we had only sugar cookies left, most of them undecorated

So last night, in between laundry, dishes, redoing my tree cuz the boys destroyed it (again), and changing the bed linens to new holiday ones, I also made another double batch of shortbread and started the festive butter cookies

I say started because... I swear to God, I thought I had mini choco chips. I remember buying them. I did not use them for anything else. I don't know where the hell they went but we tore the kitchen apart looking for them and they're just. Not. Here.

So Jon is at the local Walmart (on Christmas Eve! During a pandemic!! Not ideal!!) right now to look for mini chips. I cannot believe

But my festive butter cookies come in 3 varieties so while I'm waiting I'm working on the hazelnut buttons and almond crescents

No pics cuz I'm too tired... maybe will take pics after a nap

So I got this cute sign set at the dollar store, thinking maybe I'll use it in my HF review posts and similar things

And my brother dropped by and saw this, and his immediate reaction was, and I quote:

"Oh I HAVE to Captain Underpants this thing"

Several minutes of rearranging letters and wheeze-giggling later and he presents me with this

Team Ratchets killed it last night. Last night was fun with the main ratchets by my side. We ate at Golden Corral. Gahh damnn, too much delicious food <3 Unlimited amount of steak! Such a plethora of food, but there's a crapload of people waiting in line to get inside the restaurant & line for food. The line for food was whatevs though. Everyone should go to Golden Corral! It's only $10-$15. In my opinion, it's not that bad considering the amount of food they offer! 

Spent time at the Bo$$ Lady's house since she 's leaving on Sunday! :'( Waaaaah! It's always fun there inviting ourselves, waiting to be sheltered. Laker game was intense. My team aka Team Ratchet won all of the games. Only because I was unbelievably amazing as usual.

Late night adventure to go to Disneyland to pick up these lost 2 children & then off to Denny's.
