We’re All People
Just to clarify, I’m not gay or bisexual. I’m a straight girl who sees that some people are being treated wrongly, and that needs to be STOPPED. I mean, what good would it do knowing that you’re the reason someone cries at night? Does that make you feel good? If it does, get some psychological help, dude.
Gays:
Humans. It doesn’t matter if you’ve come out or not. It’s so not wrong if you like someone from the same gender. It’s actually pretty okay. You’re not alone in this. Just remember that being gay literally means being happy, so show those rainbow colours and just be goddamn happy about yourself!
Bisexuals:
Same as gays, humans too. It’s probably better as a bisexual, because you get the best of both worlds? But seriously, when you feel as if you’re weird, you don’t fit in or anything like that, listen to Girls/Girls/Boys by Panic! at the Disco and just remember that you’re still as precious as unicorns. You’re too rare to die. So don’t die.
Self-harming:
Why on earth are you treating your skin like that? That’s not good! You can’t do that to yourself! Why would you let that precious bead of red blood spill from a wound that you’ll come to regret later on? Every wound is a story, yes, but every drop of blood spilled is a new regret. I don’t get it. Does the pain feel good? Does the feel of hurting yourself make you feel better? You are a blank canvas, prepared to be painted with beautiful colours, not with marks that might not heal. Just remember that if you think no one cares, then I, a stranger, love you for who you are, because you’re worth every drop of blood God has poured into you.
Anorexic/Bulimic:
Well, here I am, giving advice to people like me, when I myself can’t do anything to help myself. I am anorexic. I have been for years, but I’m still here. I’m not proud of what I’ve done and what I’m still doing. But I’m unable to stop. It’s not healthy doing these things to ourselves. It’s not healthy at all. I’m not sure what reason would I give if anyone asks why I would do this, even if I’m a skinny person. 43kg isn’t bad. In fact, most people would want this weight. I myself am unsure of what to say, except that weight doesn’t matter in the end. Except for the weight of your heart of gold.
Suicidals:
Right, I’m pretty sure I’m talking to people who have thought about committing suicide, or ones who have tried. Don’t. For the sake of yourself, don’t. Is it because of a boy? You’ll find a better boy. Is it because of school? Trust me, school’s hell but when you leave, you’ll find that it was worth the 12 years. Family issues? Ah, that’s one problem I’m not sure about. Get a counsellor to counsel your family, and talk your hearts out. It works to just let out all that you’ve kept inside.
Depressed:
When you’re facing depression, it’s a serious business. Which means the cause of depression must have been a very terrible affair. I’ve got no cure for depression, but just remember that there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. You’ll find that before it gets better, the darkness gets bigger. And you’ll go through it fine. You’ll be kicking depression in the balls if you focus on the good of your life.
And for those who I have not mentioned, please remember that you’re as important and as loved as any other person. You’re worth every tear, every diamond in the world, because there’s always someone out there who loves you. I love you, random tumblr person, and I’m not afraid to acknowledge that everyone is equal, and everyone deserves all the love in the world.
Hollie I love you, you're so awesome <3
