Jamming With Myself (On A Friday Night)
So life's got me pretty busy lately in most every aspect. A recent sickness in the family found me at the hospital almost every night for a week and a half, and my day job's been kinda heavy lately with this new company (fortunately, I'm having a blast doing what I do for a living).
The "studio" has been semi-bustling, too, with some people asking me to help out with writing, arranging, and recording songs. Also, I've been making CD copies of The Apes of Wrath but haven't really gotten the time to promote them yet (but, hey, if you're reading this and want a copy, I'm selling the CDs dirt-cheap for P80 ONLY!) And all the debauchery going on in-between hasn't left much time for me to record more of my own songs.
Thankfully, I had a lot of the material for the second album close to completion before all the hustle-and-bustle came around. Last night, I finally got to finishing one of the half-baked tracks from that period. It surprises me how this took so long to complete, as it's a really light jam on a 12-bar blues riff, something I've always enjoyed doing whenever I felt like playing guitar for no reason. So here it is, one of my personal favorites from the "forthcoming" album: "Jamming With Myself (On A Friday Night)".
