This is for psychotropicgreen and no one else so please be kind and shoo~
I appreciate your trust in my intuition! (It's recovering from a dull period lately, so I'm actually recommending that you take a larger grain of salt than usual with my interpretations, okay?)
So I'm a big, huge fan of paying attention to whichever cards fall out of my decks, okay? And The Dark Lady (rev) and The Singer of Healing seem to want to be front and center. (I'm using Brian Froud's Faeries' Oracle, if you're curious and would like to double check me on anything. A quick google search yields some other interpretations of these cards.)
Now this might be irrelevant but: The phrase "dark night of the soul" jumped into my head regarding the Lady. Google tells me (since I didn't remember it's exact meaning) that it means "a phase in one's spiritual life marked by loneliness and a perceived collapse in meaning". It's some pretty gnarly stuff, but is this something you might be feeling?
On with the cards: you'd do well to not block this particular Lady's energy. Why? She's all about the darker parts of life. She's part Empress and part High Priestess. There is introspection and journeying to be done and great power and creativity to be wielded if one can find the strength to pick them up. The journeying into the darker sides of yourself can be scary and there is risk of hurting because of it (either yourself or others) but it is a necessary risk to take. Your sense of darkness is not a useless or despairing one, despite how it might seem.
[In acquiring this power I have to give the good reminder: with great power comes great responsibility. Whether that power is interpersonal or internal be wary of manipulation-- your own or that of others.]
Furthermore, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps you've come through that lonely exploration of the wilderness already or perhaps it's just beginning-- regardless, don't fear! The Singer of Healing is here! No, really. This particular Faerie (cosmic energy, if you like, or any other term) does just as it's name suggests. The darkness culminates in healing-- you have only to seek it out; reach out to others in your life, new or old; healing is there to be had.
Now, The Piper (reversed) has come up twice, though I wasn't sure about him to begin with. Clearly, he knows better than I do. Have you been feeling stagnant?Get back into the swing of (or begin!) making and creating music, poetry, song, and/or dance. Share it, love it. The Piper also warns against manipulation of others using His song-- again, power, responsibility; you know the spiel.
Questions, concerns, mad distortions of reality? All are welcome my dear.
