Totally setting up a system to organize all my music for my DJing purposes. Basically, I set up playlists in iTunes, then manually organize my music using the built in rating system, 1-5 stars per song. 1 star indicates a low energy song, such as an ambient piece, super chill. 5 is high energy, like the big room house anthems, and so other rare pieces. 3 is the mediums, which a big chunk of my music resides, as well at the medium-high energy category. Then, I manually add a comment to the metadata for all the songs, that designates the category, such as High. Lastly, I have special crate "playlists" in my DJ software that detect the comments on my music, and arrange the songs into the Low, Low-Medium, Medium, Medium-High, and High lists, since the software doesn't recognize iTunes playlists. So yea. Fun. Now to organize.
