more on psychic Gus, him finally deciphering what each color of someone’s emotional aura means and being able to read people so when all of them are together he sees Juliet with pink around her as she looks at Shawn and is like “yeah okay that makes sense. i already knew that” then he looks over to Lassie and is like “why the fuck is he pink too”

im really addicted to psychic Gus posts. anyways pre-relationship polycule is so torturous from him because he's always a step ahead of how everyone is feeling and can do nothing about it.

they don't care if he has psychic powers that let Gus see what they're feeling, he has no idea what he's talking about whenever he calls them out on their pining and is obviously just getting his colors wrong.

he has to put sunglasses on while watching Shawn, Jules, and Lassie bicker over something while they're all glowing the hottest pink he's ever seen

it's also very torturous for him when him and his feelings get added to the mix.

imagine him pre-relationship trying to calm down Lassie after Shawn annoyed him badly being like, "you know it brings out your eyes better when you're less mad" somehow mistaking that for a platonic compliment and watching as the detective stops, huffs, and flares up a bright pink while storming off. and to make it weirder for himself he actually liked seeing that happen (or at the very least, didn't mind)

or one day while the work is slow at Psych he catches Shawn staring at him instead of doing his paperwork like he should be and Gus is like "what??" and Shawn, whose aura now has pink mixing in with the usual bright white of his adoration, looking like the aurora borealis, is very casually like "oh nothing i just zoned out"

whether this is Shawn forgetting Gus can read him and thinks he's successfully lied or knows Gus can see what's going on and is teasing him is up to you
