064 It was poison

It was poison the way the capital operated. The way they would gut the land. Killing its citizens, and ruling the world without anyone ever knowing. Jared blew out into the foggy air. It was a cold morning. Everyone else was still asleep. He looked around in his crows nest, the ship was gently swaying in place as the dawn started to pool around the edges of his vision.

It was quite beautiful out here in this early morning air. He looked at the small city miles in his vision. Every from here he could tell that the land was scorched by the capital. Lack of food, taxes, and good ps have sucked this town dry.

The poison was filling it's streets, damning it's world and killing so many.

Watching someone die, because they had nothing. Was the worst thing. Jared sighed, puffing out a breath once more. He could imagine his parents, slowly dying, waiting for him to come home with his fortune.

He gave a sad smile. He had many months yet, until he could see them.

He could only hope they weren't decaying by this poison too.

The capital needed to be stopped.

Jared could feel it in his bones.
