Love writing fanfic because of my own natural disdain for fanfic. I'm writing in passive voice? Unvarying sentence structure? Strangely placed dialogue tags? Modifiers like 'really' and 'very'? Using too many adverbs? Not using any kind of outline? Chapters that are only 1k words long? Not revising anything, just hitting post? Garbage! Obscene!

But what are the readers expecting, great literature? No! They knew what they were getting into, and they're grateful I'm using paragraph breaks. When I write original work, there's only so much that can be excused under "style" and "knowing the rules to break the rules". But no, when I write fanfiction, I can sniff with repulsion. (And just relax and enjoy the experience of writing)

Writing Commisions

Heyo! I don’t have enough money to fill my gas tank and yet I find myself needing to drive 500 miles (4+ gas tanks, round trip) to go to a funeral of a close family friend. I am unable to start working until after the funeral and my first paycheck will take a few weeks to come in after that, so I am in desperate need of money to get to this funeral and back home. @gaytopic reminded me that I have the ability to write, so I’m opening commissions!

Examples: My AO3 has some of my more quality fan fictions (and some I’ve abandoned on accident). I am also willing to send excerpts of original writing and unpublished fan fictions.

Pricing: I will charge by word count, $1 USD for every 100 words (Ex. $1-100, $2-200, $10-1000, $20-2000)

Payment: PayPal is preferred but I am willing to talk about other methods of payment! (if you want to donate to this tired college kid even without commissioning anything: ko-fi)

I will write both original and fan fiction, though I’ll require a bit more info to do original writing than I will for fan works. I’ll also write just about any pairing. A list of all the fandoms I am comfortable writing for is under the cut (I’m 100% willing to work with you for a fandom that isn’t on my list!). I’m best with dialogue, scene description, and setting the emotional tone of a scene. Sometimes not all at once, though.
