I love how in all his flying machines and piloted death weapons, Ruby-Spears Wily always makes sure to give Protoman his own little seat right next to his. Like:
“r/me or my son”
I’ve heard (and seen) many a discussion regarding the Sonic series and its relationship with the neurodivergent members of the population (myself included), but I haven’t really seen any discussion for Mega Man outside of perhaps a handful of times.
And I’m beginning to wonder if perhaps it is a comfort/hyperfixation for some, as well as why.
Personally, for me, I see the robots/Reploids/Net Navis, whichever as relatable to neurodivergent people because they have personalities and traits that make them easy to identify with. True, this isn’t to say that the human characters aren’t like this, but comparing them, there’s a clear difference in how they operate.
I’m sure there’s more than just that to it, but I’m curious, if you’re neurodivergent and like Mega Man, does it have any relation to that or is it merely something you find fun?
Or both?
“MEHGEHMIN”
