jaeun has been pacing back and forth outside of their bedroom door for god knows how long, chest tight and tears brimmed in ducts. but she feels the need to hold back still despite every fiber in her being wanting to tell hyeon everything. and before jaeun can chicken out ( as per usual when this situation arises ), she storms in the bedroom, chest raising up and down as if she’s ran a marathon. ❛ hyeonnie.... ❜ the elder whines out ( though the obvious sad tone was practically built within that single word, something out of character for the elder ). ❛ i-- i can’t do it any more. ❜ jaeun chokes out as she walks forward towards her girlfriend, tears budding even more so until they begin their trek down puffy cheeks as hands reach towards her. ❛ i - i’m SO tired of being strong all the time, i’m so tired, hyeonnie. ❜ she says, much louder than anticipated. a ragged sob rippling through her frame as she collapses on the bed beside her girlfriend. ❛ MY heart is sensitive too, i hurt too. why can’t i hurt too? why can’t i be allowed to feel pain too? ❜ jaeun cries out, big tears cascading down cheeks faster than she anticipated, left hand clutching at her chest. ❛ i’m so sad, hyeonnie. i’m so fricking sad. all the time. ❜
