I'm so excited to share with everyone the story behind my participation in the recently held Philippine Textile Research Institute (PTRI) fashion show dubbed as "Bagong Habi, Salinlahi: Cutting-edge Philippine Textiles". The show's aim is to showcase outfits made out of woven tropical and vegetable fibers, which is a first in the country!
However, since I haven't compiled the photos yet, I shall postpone the story-telling HAHAHAHA! It will be boring if I just narrate the entire thing without showing you photos. So... please wait for my next post! And besides, I need more time to compose the entire story because I'm not good writer, remember?! a lazy writer. LOL!
In the meantime, let me share with you what I wore on that day. *wink*
Shirt dress: Zara | Gold/tan blazer: Custom-made
Please, I love these heel less boots!! I seriously forced my feet to fit in their smallest size! haha. This is my first GD baby! :)
Over-sized gold/tan/purple clutch: Custom-made by Gold Dot
How do you like the clutch? It may seem humongous for me but I actually appreciate its size because all my stuff can fit in!
Earrings: The Jamie Collection | 3-piece necklace: I made for myself :)
Both the blazer and the clutch were special because they were made out of woven tropical fibers! Aren't they awesome? :D What's even more awesome was that, more than the veggie fibers, I wore our culture!! :)
