Ever since our team won first place for the first time in history during the service line presentation last December, we became motivated to exert effort in the future "friendly" competitions in our company.

Last February we had to prepare for another "friendly" competition wherein each service line has to do a parody of a music video of their own choice. We only had less than a week to conceptualize and do the shoot. Our first option was to do Katy Perry's Last Friday Night (TGIF) but too bad another team has already reserved that song so we ended up doing Super Bass by Nicki Minaj. :)
I'm actually one of the go-to persons at work for anything media related. However, I declined directing and shooting the video as I was rushing stuff for the upcoming fashion show at that time but then I still ended up doing it because they forced me to I LOVE MY TEAM SO MUCH!! HAHA :) So here's the magic in rushing the shoot.. We brainstormed on Thursday, finalized the stuff (storyboard, casts, props) on Friday and shot the scenes from 10am on Saturday until 1am on Sunday. What a wild schedule, yeah? It was indeed exhausting but we all had fun and that's all that matters!! :) But honestly, after the shoot I could hardly walk! Talk about extreme body pain. :P
To give you an idea on how fun the entire shoot was, check out our behind-the-scene photos. :)
Scene 1: 10am - Fountain Area. Our boys had the privilege to run around and play on the fountain. When I say boys, that includes our managers!! HAHAHA. Now, can you guess the location? Hint: Jamba Juice!! HAHAHAHA
Scene 2: 2pm - Pool Side. Now it's time for our pretty Nicki Minaj to jump into the pool while the boys showcased their "one pack ab". HAHA!
Scene 3: 9pm - Studio. Nope, we didn't rent a studio. This is actually a training room in our McKinley office :D Check out the lighting and props, yo! While they're setting up the "studio" and retouching their make-ups, AM and Anne pampered me with foot and back massages! That's how much they love their director! HAHA
Scene 4: All-star dance moves. Yes, our videos a bit star-studded. Thanks to our Service Line Lead! HAHAHA

Now, are you ready for the video? :D
But before that, can I just share my super cute kiddo outfit during the shoot? :D Since I knew I'm gonna be directing and shooting the entire day, I've come prepared by wearing my most comfortable button down shirt over a tank top and leggings and some comfortable espadrilles. But when I saw this pretty purple tutu skirt in our bag full of costumes, I knew I had to try it on! I wouldn't wanna take it off then! So cute eh, I look like a pre-teen in it! HAHA :D
Tank top, leggings, gold espadrilles: Forever21 | Bracelet: The Jamie Collection | Sunnies: Aldo
One more thing, say hello to our awesome make-up artist, PAT! Meg & Ysa weren't able to join us to it's just the two of us! <3

Again, I'd like to thank everyone from our team who gave their 100% support and effort especially the production team, the cast and our Service Line Lead, Ron! :) All our effort actually paid off as we've won 2nd Place! What's more overwhelming is the fact that most of the people, including the other teams, expected that we'd win! WOHOOO! Funky, funky, sexy, sexy, surprise!! GO FSS!! :)
