#OTD 9/27/1972 President and Mrs. Nixon riding a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) commuter train from the San Leandro station to the Lake Merritt station with BART General Manager B. R. Stokes. The first segment of the BART system (Fremont-Oakland) had opened 16 days earlier. The second segment (Oakland-Richmond) would open two days after the Nixons' visit. (Image: WHPO-D0567-11A)

The guy sitting across from me looks like a younger version of one of my recent clients, a cowardly, craven little man who never paid on time, if at all. Sorry guy, I know you can't control your face and I'm trying to stay positive over here. Still, there is a little demon on my shoulder that's telling me to bitchslap you.
