I think as a puff I connect with gryffindors because of our sense of loyalty. We both have loyalty ingrained, so even though justice for gryffindors is very universal, for me as a puff, (and this is just me) justice tends to be very myopic. I need to feel identified with those i am being "just" with. I tend to want justice for those I'm loyal to. Whereas Gryffindors just want it universally and empirically. When I want it, I want it for REASONS that have to do with empathy. I need to identify

(cont) with the cause, so I can feel loyal to it, and then I want justice for it. It’s motivational. So yeah. Puffs are myopic about justice, but we are big on equality, if that makes sense. “We are all the same but you’ll get your consequences, and I won’t defend you unless I feel obliged to you by loyalty. If not you’re screwed”

ooh this is very interesting to me. i’m big on gryffindors having macro level goals vs hufflepuffs having more micro level goals when it comes to justice-related stuff

in a way it feels like hufflepuffs act through a lens that tells them they’re doing something because it’s the Good thing to do where as gryffindors think it’s the Right thing to do. but that’s just how i justify things in my own mind. and the Good thing always = the Right thing to me so although i possess hufflepuff characteristics, the ones i strive for are gryffindor’s because i see that mentality as the way to achieve my goals

so i spent the day (and by 'day' I mean most of it - from 11am to 6pm) babysitting the two-year-old daughter of a friend and we went to the zoo and ate pretzels and drunk juice boxes. so basically I had a fantastic day making sure Tara has a fantastic day.

thank you weather for taking part in this, thank you mum for basically funding this (because even as a uni student, all my money is really my mum's), thank you zoo-people for thinking it was my child and lettting us in on one card.

today was a good day.
