Today I went to the horse stables where my sister and I used to go visit a bunch of stray cats after school. The place used to be absolutely overrun with abandoned cats. About four years ago, we stopped going often because one day we went and almost all of the cats were gone. We assumed that they had been rounded up and put into a shelter. Our favorite cat which we had named Puddie went missing with them. We went back a few times after that, and she was never there laying on her favorite stall.

Well today we went back there just out of curiosity to see the horses and if more unwanted cats had been dumped off, and guess who was there ?

Puddie !!

We cried when we saw her. Her face has gotten a bit more white, but she was laying in her same old spot next to the same old horse. She must have remembered us because she isn’t the friendliest cat to strangers, but she let us pet her. We really thought she was gone. I’m not sure where she was all the times we went to look for her, but I’m so glad we got to see her again.
