These rookies are just so cute! Some faces we've met, and some we haven't yet for Where the Wild Things Are.
Tamersona Week: Day 5
"Gaz and Go-Go like to argue, especially over the TV. They all like to watch TV. Go-Go is real into rom-dramas and Gaz likes action-adventure cartoons that are full of unexpectedly deep feelings. I think Doru (mostly) just likes to hang out and chill. Except when he gets the wiggles and then he just HAS to play - toys, sports, games, he has to move. Gaz and Go-Go also like games and get real competitive.... All of them dislike hard labor and chores, though Doru complains the least…"
"As for Cwynn and Puddin: both like to run (rip, me), Puddin likes to dance and make music, and Cwynn likes pranks and jump scares. Puddin dislikes jump scares and tells him off for it all the time. Cwynn dislikes bullies and both really hate hurting people but they hate sitting idly while others are hurt waaay more. So they'll do the thing they hate if it'll help others..."
"For the most part, all of their personalities are surprisingly stable throughout their evolutions. Go-Go and Gaz are both dramatic and kinda edgy - though Go-Go’s more goth than Gaz and Gaz likes to play up being chaotic neutral, even when doing heroics. Whatever form they’re in, though, they treat as playing a role and that’s kinda neat. Doru is mostly level, except he gets way more vicious when pushed and jumps to fight more quickly."
"Puddin is a little like that, being pretty much the same throughout her evolutions - level, insightful, somewhat cryptic - just being more harsh in a fight and more willing to enter into one. Very ‘nature’s justice’ or w/e. Cwynn gets quieter in his second form, bringing out how thoughtful he already was, then is rowdier, quicker-tempered, and gets stubborn in his third. Puddin helps temper that, and especially at their final form. But I don’t know much about its personality - I’ve only seen it once and it was a big mess…."
Tamersona Week: Day 1, First Encounter
"Well, you see... That's a bit of a long story? And I wouldn't say it went, uh, terrible... but it didn't go great, either. The short of it is: they started it. Both times."
"First time - that's with Doru, Go-Go, and Gaz - those troublemakers were making problems on purpose and dragging Doru along with them. Made a huge mess of my favorite cyberspace haunt, then mucked around and got themselves (and me) in trouble with a bigger, meaner digimon. We never got in on any "greatness" or anything, but we all did our part when the big bad appeared."
"Second time - er, well, this go-round - was even worse. But better? My phone glitched and... ate me?? Then I met Puddin and Cwyn, who were in a tizzy and said some real distressing things. Stuff about an impending, capital-letter 'Collapse' and a missing Deva, with a rampant Wild Hunt making everything worse. So I said, 'well that can't be good,' and agreed to help them. We're gonna round up more friends who are tougher and smarter, so they can figure the whole mess out but... uh... we're still at it and I don't know how we're gonna solve it, yet."
"OH! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Zi - nice to meetcha! And my present partners are Puddin and Cwyn - Pudumon and Cwynmon, respectively. The trouble trio were Doru the Dorugamon and the Gazimon Go-Go and Gaz."
Tamersona Week, Day 2: Way to Grow!
"The trouble trio all had real scary evolutions for their first. Go-Go turned into a vampire-wolf and went ham, Gaz turned into a big blue dog with red scarf hands, and wreaked her own sort of havoc, and Doru got to be a big tiger-fox-dragon and made a huuuge mess. Hurt us a bit when he did, too… Doru never went higher than that, but the G-team was all over the map for digivolving. Never could decide which path they wanted, so they dabbled in all of them. Probably. I wouldn’t know… not like there was any kind of ‘Gazimon bingo’ to check off which monsters yours became."
"Puddin’s first evolution was very pretty - light, elegant, and strong - and led to some poetic justice. Cwyn’s first was dramatic, distressing, and sad. He… died?? But he didn’t??? I… ??!?!!? Both of them have very woodsy/ghost-story/cryptid vibes throughout their growth. Real spooky stuff..."
"Cwyn only has three forms on his own and Puddin has four, then they merge to make a fifth (even scarier) 'mon."
Alright, been a while since I posted anything digital... So here’s some color WIP of me and @sanitys-rebellion‘s digimon. They exist as part of this fic: https://archiveofourown.org/works/20608547/chapters/48932351 . These are the potential partners introduced so far, and I’m so excited to share them all with y’all.
With additional alternate color for Shepmon, because I think blue merle are cool, but the black and red is always an excellent combo, too.
