Selkie! Y/N situation! They try and get their seal skin back by saying they just want to swim with Eclipse (they want to get away and try and mix themselves with a group of seals)

Y/N could certainly coax Eclipse into going for a swim, but getting away from him in their seal form isn't so simple. Try as Y/N might, Eclipse has their fur memorized—how could he not? Eclipse is also built to hunt delicious morsels like Y/N, and though they would slip and dip out of sight among the crowd of their familiar friends, darting and weaving over and under glaciers and ice floes, finally jumping to the frozen surface to shed their fur just to gobble up the bitter-cold air—he's there. Eclipse leans on the edge of your brief oasis, thrumming his claws against the blue ice. He's not happy.

"I thought you could be good with your fur. I see that's not the case. You can't swim with me until you learn to behave. Now—come closer. I will swim you back and you will not struggle; you've tested me enough today, doll."

Selkie YN offering to show Eclipse her pup without her skin but then taking it as a chance to try and get away with her baby would be baaaad idea

Selkie Y/N is uber protective of your seal coat and your baby's, and escaping to keep both of yours safe would be a desperate effort, but Eclipse knows when prey you get skittish, looking for a way out. With your baby in your arms, you don't get far on human legs and your pup is too young to go into the water without significant aid and protection.

It's a bit feeble in his mind, you trying to leave, but that just speaks to how you belong with him.

Eclipse catches you, gently, as you are holding your baby, but Eclipse still makes it clear that he thinks you might need to stay closer. You and your pup. His growl is right in your ear. He'll remind you to be good. Then, not letting you go, he'll swim you and your pup back to familiar waters, where you're going to stay. He'll see to it.

Yeah, that's about right. He just looks at Y/N's feet like hmmm that won't do in the water at all :/ but he finds every part of Y/N cute so the weird flippers still have their charms.
