This adorable little fellow is Gizmo, a 20 month old Pug. Today I was called in by his new owners of just one month as Gizmo comes with a few problems bless him. Gizmo barks a lot at everything, he has some separation anxiety and his confidence is not particularly good as he is wary of men and hates hand movements above his head. I feel Gizmo didn’t have a great time of it with his last owners to be honest. So we laid out some basic rules for Gizmo to follow, plus we looked at confidence building tactics, anti barking techniques and how to minimise the stress for Gizmo quickly on the walk.
