PREY Review
The PREY movie was great. I enjoyed that the story takes place in The Northern Great Plains with the Comanche tribe and the colonisers in the year 1719. I really like that it shows the lifestyle of the tribe especially Subu, Paaka, Puhi,Taabe and Naru with her loyal companion Petsü Saari . Each of the tribe members have to prove themselves with a Big Hunt also known as “ kühtaamia “. Everyone in the tribe especially Taabe doesn’t believe that Naru Can hunt.
Naru is excellent with medicine and at tracking animals for her tribe with the help of Petsü Saari. She wants to prove to her tribe that she can hunt and that there is something out there trying to hunt them and the animals around them. She also has to be careful with colonisers.
The Design for the Predator was so cool. I really like how this predator is learning about the animals on earth, deciding what’s a treat to it or not, hunting using its own weapons, collecting trophies and encountering both the Comanche tribe and the colonisers. I really like the mask and weapons of the predator !!!
