Thanks to @stonebrookepulaski for hosting another great community event! We spent our Sunday morning cleaning up garbage in our city with many other volunteers. Thursday I had the pleasure of attending the GOT WOOD??? Local History Tour hosted by the Fort Wood Community Spouses' Club. We did a half bus, half walking tour of both Waynesville and St Robert. It was led by former mayor Luge Hardman, who is both a fantastic tour guide and delightful storyteller! Some of the highlights were the Ft Leonardwood National Cemetary, Roubidoux Springs, Waynesville City Park, Frog Rock, and downtown Waynesville. At the end my friends and I enjoyed lunch together then visited a few local boutiques.
