AND we cant forget the props. Karlsweb had a section on how to make a season one pulse gun and holster. this was long before hi res screen caps of the actual props.
A little bit of background the reason they moved to soft sided holsters in latter season was due to the damage to the holsters when the actors fell on them. AND they hurt the actors when they fell on them. So the all leather holsters were introduced.
