Loves. Let me tell you about a book series the husband and I fell in love with. Red Rising is a beautiful sci-fi roller coaster with wonderful world building and amazing characters. In January we set off and managed to pull together armor for the main character, Darrow. Not much sleep, EVA foam and some 3D modeled and printed pieces and we were as done as we could manage.
PulseArmor from Red Rising, well how it looked in my head - really different from the Canon. To me Red Rising would look like this high budget OVA with retro-futurism with a rugged fantasy accent. Here's a glimpse from a visual guide I'm designing.
