#pumpkin progress

My pumpkin plant fell over during a storm last week so it’s permanently on the ground from now on. The right stem broke in half yet is still getting nutrients and growing strong just because I have it sitting up-right? The left stem is intact but is heavy and falls to the left, hence the rock keeping it up in fear of it breaking cause its heavy leaning. Since all my plants (except most my cacti/succulents) got fucked up during the storm I’m glad to still have this one.

Came home from work to nearly all my plants knocked off the porch due to the storm that came through here. One of my pumpkin plants broke at the base stem so I’m assuming it’s done ): the other one seems to be in tact so I ended up propping it up & I hope it’s okay. My tallest cacti I got over 2 years ago is done too.

My sunflowers are also done so I picked this tiny survivor & may just squish it in a book tomorrow. I know they’re just plants & worse happens to actual gardens & crops all the time but it sucks watching them grow from nothing to being ruined over me not taking them off the porch rail before leaving for work & letting the damn wind end their process.

A little upset I didn’t take a photo last night because this baby was just starting to show itself and now look at it! Obviously most plants growing process is the same, but I still always get excited when I see them grow. These are the same started pots I have used for a couple years now and they always serve me right. In the 2 orange pots I have my pumpkin seeds (though this is the only one above soil right now) and in the blue pot I have squash seeds.
