I'll clean this sketch up later
Brian Grant "Shake it Till We Make" golf event ~
As I randomly have posted over the last few days, I was fortunate and lucky enough to get to volunteer at the Shake it Till We Make It event this weekend to benefit the Brian Grant Foundation and to help lauch his website www.poweringforward.org that will be the "go-to" portal for the newly diagnosed Parkinson's patients & their families, friends, co-workers and loved ones!
This was a 2 day event that featured a gala fundraising dinner on Sunday, which coincidentally raised $500,000.00+ for the website. I was assigned to be a VIP sponsor host and had the Alaska Airlines team! They were a hoot! As soon as I get pix from their team I will post as well.
So-- Rick -- this was taken on Monday evening 8/1 just before the conclusion of the golf event!!
And I also got Brian to have his picture taken with COW (kinda like a Flat Stanley sort of thing) for my daughter!
I also got to meet and have my picture taken with Timber Joey. For those of you who are not familiar with the Portland MLS soccer team the Timbers, Timber Joey is the chainsaw weilding mascot and the leader of the Timber Army (Timbers fan club)
Also, there were a LARGE amount of NBA & other celebrities there. My sweetie was TICKLED beyond belief to get a picture with Charles Barkley. And Cow got to make a special appearance in this photo too!
A wonderful weekend....
A wonderful event...
A wonderful life!!!
I AM BLESSED!!
