Get into the spooky spirit with these delightful Pumpkin Oreos Halloween cookies! Creamy pumpkin-spiced filling sandwiched between two pumpkin-flavored Oreo cookies, coated in vibrant orange candy melts and adorned with festive sprinkles.
Ingredients: 1 package pumpkin-flavored Oreo cookies. 8 oz cream cheese, softened. 1/2 cup powdered sugar. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1 cup orange candy melts. 1/4 cup green candy melts. Halloween-themed sprinkles.
Instructions: Put the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Mix until everything is smooth and well mixed. Carefully cut the pumpkin-flavored Oreo cookies in half and place the halves on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Put a small amount of the cream cheese mixture on top of the cream filling on one half of an Oreo. To make a sandwich, press another Oreo half on top. Do it again with the rest of the cookies. To make them firmer, put the cookie sandwiches in the fridge for 20 to 30 minutes. While the cookies are chilling, follow the directions on the package to melt the orange candy melts. Allow some of the melted orange candy coating to drip off the top of each cookie sandwich as you dip it in it. Put the cookies back on the parchment paper after coating them. To make the cookies look like pumpkins, melt the green candy melts and use a small piping bag or a zip-top bag with a small hole to pipe stems on top of each cookie. Before the candy coating sets, add Halloween-themed sprinkles while it is still wet. To let the candy coating set all the way, put the cookies in the fridge or leave them out at room temperature. The Halloween Pumpkin Oreo cookies are ready to eat once the candy coating has hardened. Put any leftovers in a container that won't let air in.
