Beau, at the end of the episode: GUYS I CAN PUNCH GHOSTS... AND I CAN NOW PUNCH GHOSTS FROM A DISTANCE.
Me (dwarf cleric): and i'm gonna charge... 30 ft, cuz my charge is 40. And like, with a charge, you do an attack at the end of it right?
DM Miles: you can, yes.
Me: ... i'm gonna punch a ghost.
Yo, like, my sister got mugged by a ghost last night. The police won't help and I know I can't expect Batman to punch a ghost in the face or whatever. I hear that you might have some experience with the supernatural - like spirits and shit? - so I needs your help. Can we meet so I can tell you everything we know, you can meet my dumb sister, and you can tell me how much it's gonna cost me? My dad's a lawyer or something and gots lots of money, so that shit ain't no problem.
Ghosts aren't quite my specialty either, but I can probably take a crack at whatever's mugged your sister, I think. Sure we can meet up, and hey money is not even a priority for me with cases so it really isn't an issue. Tell Daddy he can lock away the checkbook.
