What kinda tattoos do you think punk!cas would have? I always pictures a small rosary around his pec and perhaps a apple on his wrist (like Adam and Eve get it?? Eh I thought it was clever) also do you think sam might ever get a tattoo?
Castiel was sitting in his psych stats class, wishing he were back at his apartment snuggled under too many comforters, while listening to the Ramones. The professor had veered off topic again, and Castiel was beginning to think he might never actually understand statistics. He had been tracing designs for a new tattoo into his notebook most of the class. He wanted something new for his left hip. He was considering some kirituhi design, but could not settle on anything. The summer he had spent in Thailand had been amazing, and he had an original sak yant to show for it spilling around his right elbow. But now he wanted to balance it out. The black feathered wing down his shoulder, arm and back on the right side mirrored the chromatic reptilian wing down the left side. They were his pride. He had tribal tats scrawling down his side, right hip and thigh, nearly to his knee. Kirituhi spiraled around his fingers, except for the small right finger, which was a simple, elegant black feather. He wondered if he should add some color. The only color he had now was a tiny speck of red in the outline of the feather on his hand, and the left wing.
This is how I started Inked Touches (from Too Much and Not Enough), and I used these photos as references. I adore the wings. The cat and dog were from What He Wants (same series).
Castiel’s eyes flashed in annoyance. “Adorable?” he cried. “It is not! It’s…” He looked down at his hand, where his new tattoo was healing between his thumb and forefinger. The curve of the design was elegant but abstract, and unless it was studied closely, one might not even see that it was a deep blue cat watching over a larger, black-brown shepherd dog. The animals were in silhouette, with thin, calligraphic flourish. The cat’s stance was protective and graceful, the dog’s faithful and strong. He looked back up. “Okay. It’s a little bit adorable,” he conceded reluctantly. “But do you like it?”
So I’ve thought way too much about this. And I love the idea of (mildly) punk!Sam (see punked out Jared below). None of these images are mine, but I have used them for inspiration. And YES to Castiel’s rosary-though I’d love to see it as a hand tat, wrapped around his fingers like he’s holding it. And the apple is too adorable. Yes to that. My next punk!Castiel fic might have a small forbidden fruit just under his jaw bone under his ear, or, as you said, on the wrist. That’s too awesome. (Aren’t you glad you asked? I’ve thought of this WAY too much.) ~Posing
