I’ve been modelling for 10+ years and let me tell you that even models don’t look like models. Nobody’s skin is perfect, nobody’s waist is that small, nobody’s walking around looking like a photoshopped version of themselves… and if there is such a deity walking amongst us, then good for them but it isn’t the ✨norm✨. We’re all flawed. And we can try to cover those flaws up using makeup, good lighting, uncomfortable poses, plastic surgery (and the list goes on) if that’s what makes us happy… but the moment you start thinking less about yourself because you’re comparing your appearance to someone else’s? No. Stop it. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Read that again. I mean it when I say that we’re all flawed… but I also want you to know that flaws are sexy. Your little imperfections are what makes you YOU. So if you want to change the way you look because it brings you joy, go for it. But please don’t aim for what you see online because you’ll never get there. Nobody will, cause it’s not real.
