They're also remarkably long live so in universe would've been thousands of years old. She knows this shit and knows she got water prowess the rest of them don't. She'd also be very interested in lifeblood especially the weight behind it. Mantis Miles! Mantises are sleek and cool but also insane ads weirdos. Their eye illusion trick (which is an optical illusion as their eyes are thousands of tubes bundled up together and the pupil illusion is staring down directly making them always look like they’re looking.) so she’s a mantis queen but the kind of queen to not be a stickler to rules and claws are covered in paint Jason is a rhinoceros beetle cause those fuckers constantly fall out of trees after fighting. Jason wouldn't really have access to supernatural abilities or essence like lifeblood or silk but would have a lot of strength like Hegemol. Infact he may have gotten blueprints for Hegemol's armor already
