We just finished romeo and juliet, and during one of the performances, I came offstage after the Mercutio/Tybalt fight (I was Mercutio). After chilling for a bit I noticed I had blood all over my elbow, and reassured my concerned friend, “it’s fine I’m like 98% sure it’s just stage blood” (I had gotten a bit liberal with it. She made me wash off my elbow anyways and lo and behold the blood comes back! I scraped my elbow on the floor during the fight… Who says you don’t get hurt in stage combat?
