I fell for a guy a while ago who lived 3,432 miles away from me; he was literally my best friend and I felt like I was seriously in love with this guy. We always joked about being together and stuff and after a year of talking to each other I outright asked him why we couldn't make it official and he just turned me down like that and it hasn't been the same since. It really hurt me, but I think long distance relationships could really work if you're determined enough to make it happen!

In my opinion I don’t blame him tbh. Yeah of course you got hurt, that sucks, nobody deserves to be hurt only happy with the person they love but ldr aren’t for everyone so I don’t blame him for taking that decision and sometimes friendships are better than dating someone.
