Yes, that's right, we said 'hornet' not 'bee'. This deadly Supreme Commander can sting you as many times as she goddamn chooses. Sui-Feng is an aggressive and strict Captain, so tread carefully when dealing with Squad two, perhaps she might even like you, unless you are Kisuke or Omaeda, then you actually have a fighting chance. It's probably just best to be Yoruichi.

I thought it'd be rude if I don't thank you all properly, so I made this post! Thank you to those who replied to that ooc post last night, and I apologize for being so negative OTL. icon making with msp! woo.

this is the icon i will be working with in this tutorial: 

okay, well i got the page from mangapanda, so you can just skim through the manga there and when you find an image you want to use, just cope it and paste it into paint. 

now, what you want to do first is go to select up in the left hand corner. with that tool, you can find the area you want to make into an icon. 

now, what's really important here is after you've selected what you want to be your icon (the area in the red box is what i'm making into an icon), you can move your cursor around what not, but mostly you need to watch your sizes. most rp icons are 100x100, so if you keep the same width by height you'll be okay. like in the icon up there, mine is 140x140.

*note that you can one pixel off with msp icons (ex: 140x141), but when resizing, resize the smaller side. 

now just cut it out and go to a new paint window! you can close this one since you won't need it anymore. 

you can paste it in using the paste key up in the left hand corner!

okay, this is really important here. the resize tool is up at the top left corner, and after you click that, it's very important you resize by pixel and not percentage. percentage will fuck everything up. 

after you've done that, just type in 100 into the measurement boxes and that'll give you a resized icon! if this was the case in which one side was larger than the next, make sure you type in 100 in the smallest box. 

now you have a nice, new resize icon! you can edit from here. with mangapanda, the white backgrounds are not a pure white, so use the paintdrop tool to pick up on that.

this is an example of the editing i did. i'm going to touch it up more, but i wanted to the icon to look less like ichigo's fullbring and more like his soul reaper uniform, so i colored some things in and edited out the bit of the piece that went over the bridge of his nose. i also touched up his hair a little bit because i like for my icons to be clean.
