#pup fever

i might be alone on this, but do any other critters experience heightened wants for pups (kits, kittens etc..) in the times you would have young ones?

i've gotten this feeling before, but thrown it off as simply "baby fever", which is common in many, but especially women. Now i'm realizing this could very well be baby fever, but is connected to who I am, a wolf.

I do not want human children, although one day I might, but instead I want wolf pups. Like who I am. I want to look at my pups and see myself in them: a wolf.

I am now with my mate, and i'm thinking that might be why this feeling is MUCH stronger than ever before... I've found myself thinking so many times "I need to do this for the pups !" or "I need to get this for the pups" only to realize.. there's no pups (sadly).

anyways... has any critter felt this way or am I losing it ?

i am having a want to feel little feet kicking in my belly as i rest on the couch with my mate. the desire to be pregnant and nesting is very strong again. i want to be browsing onesies and looking at mobiles on Etsy while creating a theme for the nursery nest, making Pinterest boards for it in a special cozy rocking chair

i think i will put on some YouTube content from some of my favorite YouTube mothers so i can live vicariously through them for now.

Mike: Actor I know we already have the other… What do sirens call them? Pups? Well, I kind of… Maybe…

Actor: Spit it out my dear.

Mike: I wanna at least try having another one Actor. I guess you could say… Pup fever has hit me hard.

Actor: *Blushing* A-Are you sure?

Mike: *Nodding* I think we’ll be great parents even if we come from different words my dear.

Actor: *Flustered* W-We can try next week. M-Mating cycles are next then if you really want another pup.

Mike: *Smiles* Thank you Actor.

i want to feel the coziness of having a small warm lil one tucked in my arms, against my chest, heartbeat to heartbeat.

my baby fever right now is thru the roof after spending the afternoon at my mate’s brother & sis in law’s for Father’s Day with their dad. their baby is still basically newborn (5 days old as of like 3 hours ago) & is the most precious i’ve seen

seeing my sis in law resting her swaddled lil one on her chest and gently kissing her lil head made me yearn so badly to see what it would feel like with my own. their baby is so calm and peaceful and knowing that that is a possibility makes me more eager to give it a shot myself.

my brain after watching one (1) homemaking video featuring glimpses of creator's little children :

i want to be pregnant! i want babies! i want to coddle a little one! mate, it's time! breed me!

also just had a yearning to rest my warm cup gently atop my pregnant belly while nesting into my back pillow, purring happily to the pup growing within
