By the way, this is what Five Hargreeves looks like when he's around his siblings (who he fought to protect for decades)
LOOK HOW FUCKING SOFT HE IS WHEN HE'S AROUND THEM. and you want me to believe that this man would do something like that to Diego??? His brother??? No way.
Everyone always talks about how The Hunger Games movies did Peeta dirty, but no one talks about how they couldn’t just let Coin be a stone cold bitch.
Like god forbid a woman be a heartless manipulative asshole
Guys where are all the nonbeliever (reader) avatar fanfictions at
no but it is actually kinda insane that the intention with will’s love story with mike is that he eventually realised that it all meant nothing lol it was never about him ever haha ever
One thing I love love love about phm is that there’s a cowardly mc. Most media has hero’s that either are brave and experienced, or maybe scared but willing to fight.
Nope. Not Grace. Grace got the call from fate and, quite literally, ran in the other direction. Just like most people. Most people won’t go on a suicide mission to save earth. It takes a special brand of crazy to do that. Grace is most people. And, like most people, Grace managed to pull it in the end.
I just love how Grace was average. He wasn’t crazy intelligent or brave or anything. He was just your average scientist. I dunno, I just love how a big part of the story is that cowardly, average people can and will help in the end, whether because they’re forced to or because they find what they needed to fight for in the end.
the whole carlos vs jannik "talent vs hard work" narrative pisses me off BAD. because what do you mean. the same carlos who was naturally smaller than the other kids and had to literally work extra hard to develop skills (like the dropshot!) to counteract his PHYSICAL DISADVANTAGE. the same jannik who only had tennis twice a week in his youth compared to the other kid's 6, yet somehow still managed to beat them (and he committed to it super late!). but no, he's clearly not talented and carlos clearly does not work hard.
