Back in June 2017, @silverxcristal​ / @fnaf-sxc​ and I made a story thread in collaboration with each other. It was our first time working on any sort of multi-part story together.

Unfortunately, when cleaning and archiving my blog, I found that the original thread was a tangled mess of reblogs and images stuck under “read mores”. This not only made the thread hard to read, but hard to archive as well, since deleting any earlier parts of the thread would cause images to not appear in any subsequent reblogs.

Since this story thread is still important to the both of us, we have both decided that reposting the thread like this would be our best option for archiving it on both of our blogs. So pardon the older art, but also thank you for understanding. We hope that this story is still enjoyable whether this is your first time seeing it or a nostalgia trip like it is for us.

Julys theme was FNaF + Shipping, and from the options I put this one was chosen: Nightmarionne x The Puppet, or as I like to call it "Puppet Hell"

This is not tied at all to canonverse, is most of a "create an au and talk with your friends about their aus and make them interact", you know, the more lighthearted side of interactions. I make this ship with @askbonnieboy / @octyfish in 2017, with my Nightmarionne (Mari) and their Puppet (Nette)

Its a cute ship, Mari has powers to make portals throw dimensions (including AUs) and can visit their partner like that, theyre very married

When I try to introduce my anime loving friends to Thunderbolt Fantasy, some of them get weirded out and won't watch it because "Puppets aren't anime" or they see the fight scene in the first episode and say "I can't take this seriously" and it's like "Bitch, what part of any Japanese cartoon ever could be taken seriously??? I'm sorry my lovingly crafted ridiculous magic martial arts puppets couldn't live up to your standards of fantastically proportioned raindow-haired saucer-eyed animated jiggle physics. If you've ever taken any anime seriously it's because you looked past the visual weirdness and saw the evocative artistry beneath it. As such, you have completely missed the point! Good day to you sir!"
