I’m currently taking a class at Aardman animation, it’s an incredible experience, and I’m so thankful I’ve gotten to take part in it. I love puppet making and to learn from Jim Parkyn a master puppet maker for 20 years has been inspiring and rewarding.
My puppet is a wire armature with plastic joints, hands and feet, wire for appendages and a plasticenes head. In case you needed a short list of items to start your own puppet.
All forms of animation are so interesting, and to make it even more interesting I got to watch some of the animated shorts from bristols encounters film festival.
I’ll post my final puppet when it’s finished.
