literally no one asked for this but here are some of my favorite vocaloid songs that i HIGHLY recommend :3
can't i even dream (fumii i believe??) - EASILY one of my favorite vocaloid songs ever. it's heartwrenching. i was obsessed with this song as a kid and it would keep me up at night because of how full of grief and loneliness it sounds... oh my god everyone needs to listen to this song
hot milk (mentairocker) - one of the og sexy vocaloid songs. it's dirty even down to the guitar riffs. so fucking lovely, i cannot recommend this enough
he is here (puppet-p) - puppet-p is SO talented, they're easily one of my favorite vocaloid producers despite being on the new side. their songs are all very unnerving and uncomfortable in the best way, like they're very reminiscent of older vocaloid horror songs. this one is PHENOMENAL
i, upon the pair's celebration (masa) - ok... crazy news that you guys DEFINITELY didn't know, masa is my favorite vocaloid producer. everyone talks a lot about the fox's wedding and soap lagoon, but this song is a MASTERPIECE. honestly most of masa's songs are masterpieces... i also highly recommend secret box and dance of beheading but i could go on and on about all the songs by masa that i love...
xxx cat (kikuo) - surprise, im also a really big kikuo fan!! i remember being in the car on the way home from the mall with my fancy new purple converse high-tops when this released and i was immediately obsessed. kikuo is really bad at releasing songs that aren't bangers
if it's making a song, let's get started (lamaze-p) - THIS SONG IS SO CUTE AND FUN AND SILLY and it also utilizes several underrated (from my knowledge) vocaloids :3
magical doctor (maretu) - this is one of my favorite songs ever actually... it's so loud and in-your-face and noisy which i LOVE. seizure warning if you watch the music video though #safetyfirst
mommy (creep-p) - OH. MY GOD. you guys should know i love my little pony, and this song is based on a my little pony creepypasta :3 im not too familiar with little miss rarity, besides the fact that it's got some murder-sex or whatever going on, but this song makes up for whatever shortcomings the creepypasta has because it's amazing
LITERALLY ANYTHING BY DEINO3330!!!!! everyone knows bacterial contamination but who knows about machine muzik... who knows about nehanshika... who knows about bitcrushe........ WHO KNOWS ABOUT UNLUCKY MORPHEUS?? NOT ME APPARENTLY HOLY SHIT I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS NEW MUSIC
la llorona (steampianist) - another english vocaloid song, except this time, it's also partially in spanish!! i actually forgot about this one!! i found it again recently and it's back in my music rotation... it's a retelling of well-known ghost story but with one of my favorite instrumentals, like, ever...
the tragedy of chateau cepage (uzuki) - I LOVE FUCKASS YANDERE GAKUPO
trick and treat (oster project) - this is one of the songs ever... like if you've never heard this before, drop everything and listen to it asap
