yep. really the only time it comes into question how dutiful you are to the Abrahamic God is when you're looking to communicate with angels.

My parents have a 10 years old moon conure, it has been always in the same small cage, when they tried to change him to a bigger one he didn't liked it, they let him in the new cage like 20 days but he stopped eating and he didn't talk so they changed it back to the small cage and he was so happy that he singed a lot.¿What can I do? He spend all the day in the cage and he come out occasionally, he can't fly in that cage, I doubt he can fully open his wings. My parents don't want to try again.

It's hard to say, there's so many things that could have made your bird act this way and without me being there I can't really be certain.

His lack of eating could have been just a general feeling of not being safe. He doesn't think it's his territory so he won't take anything from it to avoid getting beaten up by whoever's territory it is.

Could have been where the food was placed, if the food is low or in a dark corner the bird may not eat. I had a canary that wouldn't eat because the food was lower in the cage, once moving the dish higher up he started eating and was fine from that point onwards.

Another possibility is just how he was introduced to the cage. If you just throw him in and close the door he'll be terrified. It's an unfamiliar environment, it's scary, he doesn't know what's happening and now he's stuck. He won't want to eat or move in that cage because he's terrified of the environment.

He likely seemed so happy in the small cage because that's his established territory, it's his safe haven so when he was allowed to go back it relieved him from the stress of being forced in to the other one.

You need to introduce him to the cage properly, have him see the cage and explore it on his own terms. Have him decide that's it's a safe place, reward him for going near it and let him ease in to it. Have him just walk on top of the cage, put lots of treats inside and have him go in on his own terms. Maybe put a few of his favourite toys in the new cage, make him see that it's his home, it has things he enjoys and once he sees that the cage has lots of fun things, treats, and allows him to spread his wings he should be all for it.

Take it slow and don't push him in to it, he has to know the new cage is safe before he willingly enters it.

I have a bird question! I love birds but I have a cat and its very savage, Well, is not so savage, my mom has a bird herself but he hate me and it's also aggressive hehe, my father teaches my cat to fear the parrot, but I want a lovely bird for myself, not aggressive. any suggestion? or it's impossible for me to have a bird?

We have both birds AND cats, so it's possible to have both, but it's important to be VERY careful, as not only can a cat hurt or kill a pet bird by trying to catch it, cats' saliva can cause deadly infections in birds, so it's important to keep the two separated! We tend to put our most rambunctious cat in another room when we have the birds out, and never, ever leave the cats and birds unattended when the birds are out of their cages--it only takes a split second for a deadly accident to happen. It's also important to remember that bad things can happen even while you're supervising your pets, as cats and birds are both much faster than humans! When we first got birds, there was an incident where one of our cats almost killed our budgie Horatio while I was right there watching--he was flying around the room and swooped down at her, and she reached up and sliced him with her claw before I could even get out of my chair. (Fortunately, Horatio survived, but he needed stitches and a lot of medication, not to mention the cost of vet care.)

If you get a bird and your cat is used to hunting birds, it might be best to put the cat in a separate room when you have your bird out, or to take the bird into a separate room with you and close the door to keep the cat out when you want to spend time with your bird. Like I said, it's definitely possible to have both cats and birds, but it requires a lot of paying close attention to make sure nobody gets hurt!
