the stand up stop motion
to be honest I would wan to improve on this again and approach a different stand and include a walk.
my puppet is on the right, I did a quick stand up before my partners puppet even got up from the floor , I personally would like to try again in the second year to take control of both the puppets to get correct timing of puppets stand up to then into a walk and interact better.
this is my first test with lighting and positioning the puppets in the stop motion studio.in groups , we expressed a different action with the puppets communicating with each frames.
the first on the right was a simple wave , showed a smooth curved action from the back and waist. the hand gesture shows a quick and excited greeting, but could of improved a gesture in the legs to exaggerate the excitement more
the second puppet on the left showed a quite smooth moved from the head and shoulders turn but the arms needed more frames to follow smoothly with the body, but we clearly showed an action of taking a hat off.
