i don't have a pet so 3 but my favorite animal would have to be a dog! big and medium sized ones are my favorite (since i always feel like i'll accidentally step on one of the smaller breeds) but when i move out i'll for sure take any dog in that i can. c:
aw I currently don't have any pets either :< I have a large fishtank and all the care necessities because I used to keep angel fish and they're kinda high maintenance. but I'm rarely home during parts of the school year so I couldn't keep up with them. next time I'll probably stick with all my care stuff every fish needs, but with low maintenance fish :>
but big/medium dogs are the cutest omg I wish you luck in your journey of eventually getting a dog!!
