A lot of stories give Shyam a backstory, which I love because the serial didn’t give us one, but I want to see stories that take the idea that Arnav and Shyam were separated only by Devi Maiyya’s blessing and run with it. Stories where he isn’t a murderer or a serial bigamist, but a dude who may have lived out his life living off Arnav’s fortune had it not been for Khushi Kumari Gupta changing the entire scope of what he wanted from life.

Send me “unpopular opinion about x character” and I’ll tell you what trope or dynamic with the character should be seen more in fanfic with them that tragically is not used or appreciated enough.

Shyam trying to get Arnav to settle down is so funny to me, if only he knew...him randomly doing slimy things in the BG is so in character lol Also omg Aman! Hello! I just read the newest Tere Bin and wanted to yell into your inbox about it! I loved the chapter so so much. The way you write angst always makes a pit open up in my stomach and it hurts but it hurts so good!! My favourite thing about your writing is that my reaction to it is pretty much the exact same as when I watch the show, aka me wanting to yell at the screen and also take their heads and shove them together while making kissy noises ( Vladimir from Tangled dot gif)

No0o0o0o it shouldn’t hurt omg, I feel terrible haha. You’ve reminded me of a line from Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka. I was interested in watching it and then I saw a clip of Roshni saying something like “woh pyaar hi kya jisme dard na ho?” and I noped out the idea of watching the serial so hard you have no idea.

I’m going to need a lie down to recover from your compliment -- it makes you feel like the real and actual show did?! With its amazing writers and brilliant actors and that clever, clever cinematography??!! Thank you very much ❤️❤️
