🎇 Congratulations on 100 follow 🎇 I absolutely 💕adore💕 your drabbles! Can I request anything involving a tattooed pro hero Bakugou, pretty please? I'm so hyped for the rebel boi ✨ Maybe a domestic kiribaku moment when Bakugou shows off his new tattoo to Kirishima?
‘Tonight our guest will be helping us answer a question we’ve asked here before. Should heroes be allowed to have tattoos? This question makes an appearance here every few months thanks to a particular hero. Ground Zero revealed through social media that he’s gotten yet another tattoo, taking the unofficial count up to 12. Some of his tattoos are just plain obscene. Being in the number two spot comes with a lot of responsibility. Children look up to him. They look up to a hero with an attitude and obscenities permanently on his skin. Let’s discuss.’
Bakugou rolls his eyes in annoyance as he listens to the reporter. He’s used to it by now, but it’s always annoying. It’s his body and he can do whatever the fuck he wants. He’s out there saving lives every day and all anywhere cares about is the fact that he has “sex bomb” tattooed on his arm. They don’t give a shit about any of his meaningful tattoos. His wedding date and wedding ring, his parents’ names, the names and death dates of every person he wasn’t able to save. No one talks about those. Just sex bomb, the work fuck on his knuckles, or middle finger on the back of his neck.
They also talk a lot about his piercings (the ones they can see, at least). His eyebrow and nose. Apparently piercings aren’t heroic either. To all of that, Bakugou says “fuck it” and ignores them. But they’ve taken it too far judging his newest addition.
The newest tattoo is a red dragon on his chest. Its tail curls around his waist and his back and it’s breathing fire over one of his shoulders. No one has seen even seen it yet. They have no right to judge his tattoos, but especially not one they haven’t even seen.
Bakugou walks into the apartment with a huff, thoroughly pissed off at this point. He slams the door behind him. He spots his husband sitting on the couch and relaxes a bit. “Got a surprise for you, Ei.”
Kirishima looks up and smiles softly. “The press is mad at you again. New tattoo?”
“They can fuck right off. This one ain’t even bad.”
“Let’s see it, then.”
With a smirk, Bakugou starts peeling his jacket and shirt off. The fresh tattoo is still covered with plastic, but it’s visible. The red of the dragon stands out brilliantly against his pale skin. “It’s for you.”
Kirishima’s smile widens as he vaults over the back of the couch to get a better look. He inspects all the fine details of the tattoo. “It’s beautiful.”
“Thought it’d match yours,” Bakugou says. “A dragon and a phoenix.”
“It’s perfect, Katsuki. Just like you.”
-NOTES: I hope you don’t mind that I included your “sex bomb” tattoo idea!! I really like it!!! Also, the fire from the dragon is covering up burn scars Bakugou got in a battle in the past. And Bakugou actually has 27 tattoos. Lots of small ones. Oh, and Kirishima’s tattoo!!! Kirishima has an orange phoenix on his back. There’s a whole backstory to that and I might write a separate drabble to explain it. (Also sorry this one is so short!!)
