HUGS. Fellow HeiChi ; u ; !! -cries onto shoulder- I'm so happy. There so many of you guys now! In the past, when I first started over a year ago, I was completely alone with in my little shipping boat. ; u ; To have someone I can gush over HeiChi with is my greatest wish.
Oh sweetie, *snuggles* I know the feeling. When I first joined the fandom I really thought that Okita/Chizuru or Kazama/Chizuru was the be all end all of the fandom mainly because of that’s all I was seeing in the tags and from the most vocal sections of the fandom, but it’s most definitely not! Poor Heisuke gets so underestimated but he’s the first one to truly befriend Chizuru and out of all the routes I think they have the most solid foundation and natural progression. I admit I was one of the people who wasn’t quite so sure about him romantically at first but after playing his route Heisuke and Chizuru is basically at war with Hijikata/Chizuru as my favorite pairing. I love them both but for very different reasons. I know I have several friends and followers who would definitely love to gush with you about your feels--me included!
Hakuouki is such a wonderful thing because it’s a multishipper’s paradise. Trying to debate which pairing is somehow “more canon” is so ridiculous and all pairings definitely need more appreciation.
