Recently, I created a GitHub organization for the Japan PureScript community to transfer my translation of the PureScript book, and have received several contributions since then. These have mainly been related to GitHub continuous integration, and in the process we identified several issues to fix.

Day 100

This is the final day of my #100DaysOfCode challenge. I didn’t finish the chapter 6. But I will continue reading the book. I was wondering if I will include this in an other #100DaysOfCode ( round 2). But, I decided to do only one #100DaysOfCode challenge a year. So, I will continue learning ( of course ), but I get to find a way to report or to summarize my learning. I don’t now if I will use #thumblr for that or something else. But, I think, tomorrow I will define the rules and specify the tools, that I am going to use during  this period.

Day 29

I finished the book “Purescript by example” book. The last chapter was about smart constructors . It also introduces the free moand. I also started a course in JavaScript from #Udemy. It looks good. Started the downloads and the installations. I can’t wait to #code.

Day28

Finished chapters 12 and 13 and started the chapter 14. Learned some new and interesting concepts as using id to #disambiguate unknown types. The #QuickCheck library witch is a simple port of the corresponding library with the same name of the language #Haskell. I was also introduced to the Arbitrary type class. #Purescript is strongly related to 2 languages: #Haskell and #JavaScript. So, maybe after finishing the book, I will dedicate some days for the two languages.

Day 27

Finished chapter 11 and started chapter12. Introduced to new libraries and did some installation. Introduced to the “CallBack Hell” #javascript problem.

Day 26

Continued reading chapter 11. Not finished yet. I had to read the paragraphs several times in order to get them right. But I have to test the code anyway.

Finished chapter 10 and started chapter 11.

Started chapter 10 about the Foreign Function Interface.
