I'm doing a rough revision of my Japanese translation of the visual novel Z. A. T. O. // I Love the World and Everything In It. Further corrections will follow in the beta and 0.2.0 release.
It would be superfluous to write much given that translation itself is merely one interpretation, but nevertheless, if I dare to mention one thing personally about the protagonist's way of thinking—something that doesn't delve into the essence of the story and doesn't seem to have been discussed much elsewhere—it would be that it occasionally brought to mind Simone Weil's Gravity and Grace.
Version 0.2.0 of my translation is now tagged. This brings translation improvements and adds the "is" animation. Working with image data is something I rarely do, but the task (with Inkscape) turned out to be more enjoyable than I'd anticipated. I'm still not looking to push it toward first-time readers, but I hope I didn't phone in a single line. The work introduced me to things I hadn't known before, and there were flashes where just the right expression in my language clicked into place, and those moments have stayed with me.
2026-05-29: I tagged 0.4.1 (releases index). I have no idea when I can say it's complete --- I come up with better wording every time after version bumped.

Recently, I created a GitHub organization for the Japan PureScript community to transfer my translation of the PureScript book, and have received several contributions since then. These have mainly been related to GitHub continuous integration, and in the process we identified several issues to fix.
