purimpopoie replied to your post:I totally blame that picture you reblogged but Shinji meeting Eureka
So this AU where Bonnie, Clemont, and Serena just miss Ash and travel with Paul instead is sounding more and more interesting…
I wasn't thinking of it that way but yes... I would totally write it but I have over 5000 fics to write.

I’m an N Fangirl, so meh. I’ll just sit over here.
I have no problems with that. I am largely unfamiliar with the character and have understood him entirely through the fandom. Of course, I'm going to get a few things wrong. I am not trying to bash him but to express what little knowledge I have.
purimpopoie replied to your post:I normally don't respond to post because I don't like to be rude or anything but game shipping and anime shipping at quite alike. Both are shipping fictional characters after all there's not much difrence. N being childish is also no reason not to ship them. If you play black and white two you find that N and the girl players are looking for each other and N has matured a lot. I'm sorry if I misunderstood anything you said I just felt I had to point it out.
Ultimately it depends on how “Damaged Goods” you see N as. Personally, I don’t think he’s as messed up as you personally think. I’m honestly curious where the man-child interpretation comes from, because I’ve never read N as that.
I hate to disappoint you but I'm really not sure. It's simply the over all impression I've got from how people have talked about him though I think that TV tropes may have played a role and I know they're not a reliable source. I've always liked the art of Inthemachine on DA though I know to take that with a mountain of salt. Some comments on Bulbagarden too.
purimpopoie replied to your post:I actually found SuperS to be the skippable one, since it introduces no new lasting characters and focuses mostly on Chibi-Usa, whom I find annoying. Struggle through Super, since it does improve after Super Sailor Moon makes an appearance (we get episodes for the other Senshi to interact with Haruka/Michiru).
My problem with Chibi-Usa is more that she’s a Spotlight Stealing Squad for many of her episodes. My favorite characters are the Inners, especially Usagi herself, and watching Chibi-Usa just hog the show became tiresome.
I can certainly see that point. She did get a lot of screan time and I'm guessing it could get more so. I really like the inners too. I think to be honest, that's pretty much the problem I've got with Michiru and Haruka. That and I keep on getting the feeling that I'm supposed to be so impressed with the gay representation that I don't care about how little their is to their characters. I'm still waiting for some faults that are treated like faults. At least Chibiusa was called out on her faults.
I see that life has been a series of doors in your face...
Ooooh, the idea of them dating and thinking that it's a really good idea of it working out though... so tasty. I could see them dating that way, then Kasumi could discover more and more that 'yes, Shinji is even more into his training than Satoshi.'
purimpopoie replied to your post:Considering my reason for disliking pokeshipping...
I had to look up NovelShipping. I’m honestly surprised it has a name. And fanart. I think it’s just as bad for Misty’s endgame as Pokeshipping is, but that’s just me.
I used to really really like novelshipping, until I accepted that Kasumi doesn't want to get her game on and become awesome just because I find it entertaining. I still think it's amusing in a onesided sense though.
A "Maiden in Love" Character doesn't have to be in love with someone else. It's an archetype! Like maybe you're romantically involved in your passions! You're passionate about things! But I figured you'd misunderstand (like what happened) and get defensive... and act Tsundere... like what happened... (please don't kill me)
*kills you* So what’s it like being killed over the internet? Mind telling me how I did it?
Not actually that offended. Ah, I see. I’m not really that familiar with the archetype. Are there any famous examples? I can’t deny my passion though.
