As promised last week it's finally time for #QuiltRCode episode 18 featuring photos of Manitoulin's unique mobile #quiltsquares . . These beautifully illuminated and fluorescent Double Nine Patch #quiltblocks are known to escort the tailgates of our snowplows. . . And seemed appropriate for this episode as nine multiplied by two is eighteen! . . This pattern is also completely reminiscent of the twin #checkerboards from the classic #PurinaChows logo. . . Illustrated here in pics of Fort Sheg outside of Little Current that was once home to the "Manitoulin Flee Market." . . Which used to be pretty darn cool, even though I never did discover who or what I should be fleeing from while attending. . . I also decided to throw in a couple more #sign and #semiotic shots courtesy of @ashley.whyte . . Including classics from #BlackCat Cigarettes #GoodRich Safety Tires and #CocaCola . . Anywho, I hope you enjoyed this #tongueincheek post and will return next week for episode 20! . . #Manitoulin . . #ManitoulinIsland . . #quilts . . #quilters . . #quiltersofinstagram (at Sheguiandah) https://www.instagram.com/p/CO86LdIFmKP/?igshid=zzco5tfdzcs8
