Hey guys if you’re ace and want to claim the color purple is an ace thing then like, fine I guess, but you have to understand that it’s been used by sapphics since Ancient Greece to represent our love, and it is a traditionally sapphic color!

With the Purple Blooded Subjug Trope, I tend to look at it this way - has the character previously shown interest in worshipping the 'Mirthful Messiahs' before the bloodswap? For example, Kanaya has never shown interest in the Subjug cult, so she wouldn't be a Subjug if she was purple. Meulin, however, did show interest in the cult and most likely would be a Subjug if she was purple. I do believe that most Subjugs are purple, or at least, the ones that paint their faces are purple.

To be fair with the Meulin bit, she was a part of it because of Kurloz, one of the Makaras. But I like the way you’re thinking with it! This is exactly the kind of thing we mean when we go off about the Subjug Purple trope.

they stand by the rest, but hey, at least this is something right?
